This private gathering brought together South Florida’s biotech executives, investors, and healthcare leaders for a conversation at the intersection of science, sport, and human performance.
The evening featured Dr. Luke Bennett — physician, performance scientist, and architect of medical and performance programs behind 17 Formula One World Championships — joining us directly from the track for a “Fast Lane Conversation.” He shared insights from training 31 drivers across nine seasons in Formula 1 and how these learnings are shaping advancements in wearable health technology at Wear Optimo and longevity medicine at 10 Squared, along with real-time perspectives from race weekend.

The panel featured Raquel Cabo (Miami Biotech Collective), Henryk Dabrowski (Areca Financial Services), Scott Braunstein (Aisling Capital), and Robert Hacker (Startup FIU), who shared insights on Miami’s growing life-sciences ecosystem. Topics included opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, access to local venture funding, the city’s intellectual capital, its diverse population for clinical trials, and Florida’s low-tax environment as an advantage for biotech companies. Attendance was open to the MBC and Nucleate community.
